Chef Bank
THE BEGINNING
From Thailand to Keene, New Hampshire
Chef Bank was born in Thailand and immigrated to the U.S. in the early 90s. His parents had come to the U.S. in the late 80s to work and build a new life for their family. Once they felt they had achieved some stability, they moved their sons to the U.S.
Chef Bank’s parents worked in many Thai restaurant kitchens before opening their first restaurant in 1994. Chef Bank had dreams of becoming a professional basketball player, but as a family run business, he and his brother were expected to spend time working in the restaurant instead. He started as a bus boy and worked his way up into being Head Chef, learning all aspects of running the restaurant along the way.
Chef Bank attended high school and college in Keene, NH before starting his first solo culinary venture in 2014.
